President - Jordan Doughty
Jordan is a second year Economics student at the University of Exeter. He has a strong background in Finance, having completed various work experience placements and internships, at companies including Rothschild, Morgan Stanley and RBS, and hopes to build on this in the future by embarking on a successful career in the sector.
Vice-President - Gustav Lindberg
Gustav is a third year Economics and Finance student at the University of Exeter and the current President of the Exeter Finance and Investment Society. Gustav has previously interned and worked part-time at a London based Corporate Finance boutique working with TMT transactions and aims to remain in the sector upon graduation. In his spare time he enjoys playing football and loves to travel.
Vice-President - Peter Morse
Peter is currently in his final year studying Economics and Management at the University of Bristol. Currently President of Bristol's Banking and Investment Society, he interned in Global Investments at State Street in the Summer 2013 and hopes to go into Investment Banking after graduation, in the City or abroad.
Vice-President - Oliver Horton
Oliver is a Second Year Economics student at the University of Bristol. He has interned at TT International and Mitsubishi UFJ. Having secured a Citi summer internship in 2014 Oliver has the current intention to move into Sales. Oliver also manages a small Equity Day Trading account, with particular interest in Automotives, Aerospace and Defence.
Vice-President - William Turner
Will is a second year Economics student at Bristol University. He is also Sector Head of Bristol’s Banking and Investment Society and has completed an internship at Bloomberg LP. Will enjoys following the markets and manages his own small investment portfolio. He spent a lot of the 2013 summer travelling Europe and Asia.
Vice-President - Alfio Vidal Amian
Alfio is a fourth year Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering student at the University of Bath, and Chairman of Bath Finance Society. After a year working for Schlumberger (the oilfield services company) and participating in the Barclays Spring Week, he joined J.P. Morgan Equity Derivatives Trading group for the summer of 2013.
Vice-President - Anthony Cotter
Anthony is in his final year of a Mathematics degree from the University of Bath. Currently the secretary of the University of Bath Finance Society, he will be working in Private Equity over the summer of 2013. He enjoys many sports and is a keen Rugby and Tennis player. Anthony hopes to obtain a career in trading once he graduates.
Vice-President - Alex Petrou
Alex is a final year Masters student studying Civil Engineering at the University of Bath. He is a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in the financial sector, which is where his career ambitions lie. In his spare time, Alex likes to use his entrepreneurial skills in business ventures to raise capital in order to fuel his travels around the world. With an extensive background in sport, he now runs two football teams at University. As an active member on the committee, he is looking forward to developing the Finance Society over the forthcoming year.
Marketing Officer - Gavin Tan
Gavin is a second year Economics student at the University of Exeter. He is currently the Publicity Officer for the Exeter Finance and Investment Society and Secretary of the Malaysian Accounting and Finance Society for the Southern Regions in the UK and Ireland. Over the summer, he completed an internship for an airline company, and enjoys playing football and travelling in his spare time.
Secretary & Media Officer - Daniel Whitfield
Daniel is a second year Economics student at the University of Exeter. He is the Chief Editor of the Finance and Investment Society. He completed an internship at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2012 and hopes to embark on a career in Finance after graduation. He enjoys playing tennis, football and badminton in his spare time.
